Day 1 | Sorong
Sorong is the gateway to Raja Ampat and where you will embark on this amazing adventure one of the most spectacular and biodiverse diving destinations in the world. Start your charter here and explore the vibrant coral reefs and marine life including manta rays, sharks and turtles. Visit the local market for a taste of the area’s exotic fruits and spices or take a tour of the traditional Papuan villages. The town itself is a bustling hub of activity with markets and shops selling local handicrafts and souvenirs. The highlight of Sorong is the picturesque harbor where you can witness the colorful traditional boats called phinisi.
