“Once upon a time, in a tranquil lake surrounded by tall reeds, there lived a beautiful swan with grey feathers. Unlike the other swans, who had pristine white plumage, this swan was considered an outcast because of its unusual appearance. The other swans would mock and exclude it from their flocks, and the grey swan often felt lonely and rejected”
Unusual appearance is what initially distinguishes Project 1601, launched by legendary Shipbuilder Lürssen Yachts on the 11th of February. The similarities with M/Y SKAT, a 70 metre Superyacht Built in 2002 by Lürssen are quite noticeable and it remains to be seen if the new Project 1601 has the same Owner.
What is alos noticeable is the intro of this text. Altough I consider myself quite capable when it comes to the written word, this intro was actually written by ChatGPT as a result of my request to provide me with a short story of a grey swan.
Project 1601, is an amazing 90-meter displacement Motor Yacht with a exterior design made by Monaco based studio Espen Oeino International, while the Interior design was created by Dölker & Voges Design from Hamburg. Owners team project management is by Cornelsen & Partner. After her launch, Project 1601 will now undergo sea trials in the coming months and is expected to be delivered in the spring to its lucky owners. The question is if she has become a beautiful white swan by then?
